It doesn’t matter what you’re dealing with. One of the most powerful ways to make it worse is feeling like you’re alone. Like you’re the only one dealing with it. Or like nobody cares. Or both.
Whether it’s actually true or not – in a way, that doesn’t matter. Because simply feeling that way hurts. A lot.
Which is why Sunday’s epistle (Hebrews) is so important. There’s someone who has already been there. Everything that can go wrong, everything that hurts, Jesus has been there too.
Whatever you’re dealing with, whatever it is, you don’t have to do it alone. There’s someone else who has been there. And He’s waiting for you with open arms.
