Last week’s Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage has committed Christians (not just Catholics) worried and wondering what to do.
This week’s readings? It’s like they were chosen for just this moment.
In the first reading (Ezekiel), God sends Ezekiel to what should be a very welcoming group - God’s people. Except they aren’t. They’re rebelling, they’re all about themselves, and they don’t want any God stuff.
God tells Ezekiel exactly what’s waiting for him. It’s going to get ugly. Knowing that, God tells Ezekiel something else.
Sail into the storm.
More on this tomorrow.
