I like soup. And I like making it. A favorite thing of mine is making soup out of restaurant leftovers.
I love the creative challenge of taking what I brought home and using whatever I have in the kitchen to make something worth eating.
It’s so spontaneous.
But it really isn’t. It actually takes some thought and preparation. So that the right stuff just happens to be there, so I can “spontaneously” make soup.
Actually, few things in life are truly spontaneous. Most things take some preparation, even if we don’t realize it. Because we’ve built the prep work into our daily routine.
And that’s definitely true for do-overs.
