We’ve all got stuff we need to do. For most of us, we need a list – maybe a couple of lists – to keep track of it all. And somehow, we still don’t get it all done.
It’s like that with hijacking my negative thoughts. It’s easy to say, but it’s a lot harder to actually do it. Not that it doesn’t work when I do it, I just forget to do it.
So it’s a struggle. Some days it feels like I’m starting over from scratch. Like I’ve never done it before.
But I don’t have to do it alone. Like Sunday’s Gospel (Mark) shows, help is waiting for me. All I have to do is ask, and He’ll do a lot more than just meet me halfway.
